The Ministry of Education (KPM) and Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd (Astro) have teamed up to broadcast Education TV program slots on TUTOR TV channel, Astro.

The collaboration is an additional initiative for the Education TV slot currently broadcast on Okey TV channel, Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) which has been running since April 6, 2020.

This initiative is also one of the steps to increase students’ access to learning materials through platforms other than online learning.

This approach is seen as helping students who do not have access to the Internet to follow the teaching and learning process (PdP) from home during the period of the Movement Control Order (MCO) and post-MCO.

Started broadcast on May 4, the TUTOR TV channel program will broadcast for two hours from Monday to Friday.

Additionally, the program can be viewed free of charge and at any time through the Astro GO app which can be downloaded using devices with the Android and iOS operating systems.

For reference, the schedule can be found on the official KPM portal at www.moe.gov.my or on the official KPM Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @ KemPendidikan.
